A pair of Je - Ndani / Dani wedding coins, hailing from the Central Highlands of Irian Jaya (PNG), crafted from gray-green stone. These elongated, oval-shaped blades boast a meticulously polished surface, with the center adorned by a broad band of braided plant fibers, from which plant bangs dangle. One piece is further embellished with a few colored feathers. Measuring 48.5 cm in height (53.5 cm including the base), these coins are a striking example of tribal art.
